Practical Research
ARC’s conservation strategies are grounded in evidence-based science. Our research combines fieldwork, data collection, and collaboration with national and international institutions to better understand raptor populations and the challenges they face.
Projects range from tracking post-release survival of rehabilitated birds, to studies on raptor health, toxicology, and disease, and morphometric research that aids in species identification and forensic wildlife investigations.
By translating research into practical conservation action, ARC contributes vital knowledge to protect threatened and critically endangered species across southern Africa.
